Anyway, istead of making a cross with just 2 lines, you need to draw (with the line tool) a star-like cross like in the image, after, paint the center black, now is just remove the before-made lines ;D

I made a face just like that. I use the line tool and bend the lines to make the cross. Then I filled the lines with black and deleted the lines.
